When I was growing up, my world was mostly an imagined place, filled with details from geography and history books, comics, and the Illustrated Stoddard's Lectures. I never thought then from my home on the Idaho prairie that I would actually visit the places about which I read.
Late last year, my hubby told me that he might be attending a conference in the Netherlands in the spring of 2003. I decided this was my chance to see and experience a different culture other than the United States. All I can say is that Amsterdam is a long ways from Moscow, Idaho.
So if you have an inclination, why don't you join me on my vacation and see what I saw? I had a fabulous time. I hope you do, too.
