Chicago Labor Day, 2004

  • Home

Tim and I were in Chicago on Labor Day, and this is what happened. We were there for the Chicago Crossfire square dance weekend. Those Chicagoans sure know how to dance. Of course, I spent some time with my sister and her family at an old-fashioned Labor Day Picnic. Here's a chronicle of my Labor Day in Chicago. I hope yours was a happy as mine!

Millenium Park

I've never seen anything quite like Chicagoans out at their Millenium Park. The day was chilly and overcast, but it didn't dampen the crowd's enthusiasm. This is the stage. Very sleek for the city on the lake.
